After extensive research and multiple interviews and quotes, I selected Mount Olive Landscape and Construction to replace my wood fence with a new composite (Trex) fence. Their price was competitive and their references all checked out. I’m so glad I selected this company. I am extremely pleased with the new fence.
My fence installation had multiple challenges including:
Part of the fence needed to be installed on an existing concrete retaining wall.
Multiple grades were involved,
A large cedar tree straddled the fence line.
Some parts of the fence were curved at less than 90 degree angles.
Multiple fence heights were involved.
Norberto’s crew was up to each of these challenges. They know fences!
If you’re in the market for a new fence, consider composite (Trex). Composite is more money than wood, but is well worth it in the long run. Then consider Mount Olive Landscape and Construction. I highly recommend Norberto and his crew. I think you’ll be pleased with the results for many (many) years.

Norberto Guevara is the owner of Mount Olive Construction. He is an honest, hard working young man with a crew to match. Everyone pitches in and does their best; no one is looking for a shortcut. The pride they all take in their work is a very nice change! I felt very fortunate to have them do a large landscaping job for me that produced excellent results. I have put off this project due to worry about finding a worthy contractor who was honest and had the expertise to work to my satisfaction. Please look no further than Mount Olive and Norberto when you seek professionalism and a work ethic that is admirable.

Norberto helped me with 2 projects: replacing the chain-link fence with a wooden fence, and fix some of the old rotten posts and replacing some of the panel and trellis on the other side. Both of the projects were done on time with high quality.

Norberto and his crew are very professional and knowledgeable about their work. They removed a huge damaged tree for us, to the point of allowing the 6 ft trunk remaining to hopefully revive and regrow in the spring. Well done, and very challenging work. They also installed an intricate and elaborate drainage for a new lawn to replace an existing drainage system put in by another contract which only resulted in a dead lawn that had been overcome with an even worse water problem. Mount Olive turned a muddy mess into a perfectly draining area! We are happy to recommend them for your landscape needs and are very pleased with their work. We bought a 300 lb. fountain from Sky Nursery and needed a pick up and installation. Not so easy to find people that will do this for you! Norberto and his team from Mount Olive Landscaping did the pick up from the nursery, delivered and installed our new fountain with care. Running the wiring to house and set up took about three hours or so, and my husband and I were impressed with the level of professionalism they showed. We could not be more pleased with the results!.

Norberto was very easy to work with and he did a great job with my back yard. I had some very strict timelines and work that needed to be completed around other trades (concrete). He exceeding my expectations on timelines and communicated progress along the way. I was pretty picky on the look/style of what I wanted and he was committed to doing whatever was needed to get my 100% approval. There we even a couple details that were not done to my approval the first time, but without any questioning Norberto took care of them right away. I believe this is very important when hiring someone because I have come across other contractors who try and argue or convince you otherwise so they don't have to redo the work. Norberto puts the customer 1st in wanting 100% satisfaction. His pricing was fair. I went had received other quotes on the same job and he was right in the middle. The lower priced contractors I did not get a very good feel that they knew what they were doing. I was recommend Norberto and his crew!.

Norberto is an extremely hard working and conscientious young man. He removed a 35 year old lawn and put in a new lawn last May. He also fixed the existing sprinkler system. Norberto is extremely friendly and easy to work with. He checked back several times during the summer and returned to re-seed a few problem areas and fertilize. Lawn looks great and I wish I could post a photo.

Norberto and his team just finished a week of work in my backyard. He was very responsive to the first email I sent to the back and forth pre signing the contract and throughout the process. He has a kind way about him that makes him easy to work with. We went back and forth on the slope of the retaining wall while i was traveling and he explained to me what was happening, sent me photos of my yard to images of different slopes on retaining walls and even added a coffee ledge that I wasn’t expecting. His quote was broken down to the multiple different projects that I was having him quote which allowed me to see what I could afford immediately. I am now in a better place to finish the rest of work when I have the money to do so. I will be hiring him again when I am ready to finish the of the work. He also started right away and worked long hours to get the work done, it just left my house at 8pm so that he could complete the work today. They were also very good at cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend him!.
